Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) – Qatar’s leading Islamic Bank – has appointed Abdulrahman Al Nabit as its new Head of Tamayuz Banking. The appointment of Al Nabit is in line with the Bank’s strategy to promote local talents from within the bank as it is a strategic objective of the Management and the Board of Directors to continuously increase the role of talented and qualified Qataris in the leadership team of the Bank. For the past four years, Al Nabit has been the Area Manager responsible for QIB’s Northern Region Branches Network.
Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nabit is a senior banking executive with over 20 years of experience, holding a bachelor degree in Accounting from Qatar University. He started his career in the Government sector before joining QIB as a Branch Supervisor back in 2000, promoted to Branch manager two years later and in 2007 he became an Area Manager.
