QIB completes modernization of its four largest branches

Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Qatar’s leading Islamic Bank, has announced the modernization of four branches: Al Fanar, Salwa Road, Al Rayyan and Al Khor, all located in the heart of Qatar’s most popular communities’ areas.
The four branches reflect a new design that is currently being rolled out to all the Bank’s key branches. The new design philosophy melds together a palette of natural tones for a modern interpretation of the traditional Islamic values of purity, simplicity and transparency. The result is a welcoming, friendly and approachable customer experience.
Each branch has a special section set aside for the bank’s valued Tamayuz clients, and a separate area for female customers to enjoy complete privacy. The layout of the branches has also been designed with the customer experience in mind. Customers are seated alongside customer service representatives to create a moment of trust and mutual respect. Meanwhile, offices and meeting rooms are strategically positioned for a balance of privacy and connectedness.
All of the branches are equipped with state-of-the-art functionality, including areas where customers can undertake transactions online. They also incorporate ATMs and Cash Deposit machines that can be used for withdrawing and depositing cash, as well as general services on a 24/7 basis.
In keeping with the Bank’s customer-centric approach, the branches will offer customers a full range of premium QIB products and services to meet both everyday and specialised finance needs. Customers can open bank accounts, use their QIB debit and credit cards, apply for a suite of financing products, and receive expert and personalised advice about Takaful services and other Islamic banking services.
The full-service nature of the new-look branches complements the Bank’s investment into electronic banking channels. A technologically progressive bank, QIB offers an innovative online banking system, sophisticated mobile banking application, SMS banking functionality, and an award-winning 24/7 customer service call centre.
The Al Fanar, Salwa Road and Al Rayyan branches will be open from 7:30am – 1pm Sunday to Thursday, 5pm – 7:30pm Sunday to Wednesday and 9am – 12pm on Saturday. The Al Khor branch opens from 7:30am – 1pm Sunday to Thursday.
