QIB Inaugurates New Model Branch in Muaither

Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) – the leading Islamic bank in Qatar – has recently inaugurated a comprehensive state-of-the-art model branch in Muaither in a new and improved location. This initiative is part of QIB’s strategy to expand its domestic network and ensure that a variety of customer needs are met through services that are provided closer to home.
QIB’s expansion scheme aims to cover all vital locations in the country thus reinforcing its geographical presence and enabling its customers to take advantage of the country’s economic prosperity wave.
The newly redesigned Muaither branch aims to provide QIB’s valued customers a fresh banking experience without detaching from the values of the bank. The layout has been re-designed to optimize the space and make it more welcoming. The open-plan design emphasizes QIB’s values of transparency. The use of colours along with white adds to the modern and fresh feel to conduct business in. Most importantly, the branch features upgraded technology, which along with the new look and feel reflects QIB’s identity as a progressive Islamic bank.
The branch is divided into three main sections – a main banking hall, where comprehensive banking services for all are efficiently and smoothly run; a dedicated Tamayuz centre to meet the demands of affluent customers; and a special ladies section complete with a separate entrance where customers can bank in complete privacy.
Muaither has recently developed into a prime residential location, featuring an increasing number of urban development projects. It’s also in the proximity of the industrial area, and at a crossroads connecting the North to the East and the central part of Qatar.
Mr D. Anand, General Manager of the Personal Banking group, said “Muaither branch has been relocated to a larger location in order to offer a more convenient service to all our customers in the area and around. It is part of QIB’s strategy to constantly improve our offer and provide a ‘whole new way of banking’ experience for our customers.
“The new branch also allows customers to benefit from its Shari’a-compliant banking and financial services such as the opening of various accounts, deposits, transfer of funds, card services, investments, ATM deposits and withdrawals, cheque deposits, and other Islamic financing activities.”
Muaither branch will be open from 7:30am to 1:30 pm (and from 9am – 2pm and 9pm – 11:30pm during Ramadan)
