Instead of going through the hassle of entering the OTP you receive by SMS, you get a more secure and even more convenient alternative to authenticate your transactions, all at your fingertips.
One-Time Password (OTP) is a password that is valid for only one login session or transaction. It is only effective for a fixed and short period of time and becomes invalid once the user logs in or completes a transaction, making them exceptionally useful against spyware such as key logging programs.

- Choosing a 4-digit PIN to authorize your mobile or internet banking transactions
- The freedom to enable biometric authentication (Face ID or Fingerprint) instead of entering your Secure Key Pin
How to Activate Secure Key
- Login to QIB Mobile App from your Primary Device
- Tap on My Profile Page
- Go to My Settings
- Choose Secure Key
- Set up your Secure Key Pin Code
- You can choose to enable Biometric Access (Face ID / Fingerprint)
How to authorize QIB Internet Banking Transactions
Once you activate Secure Key through QIB Mobile App; you will need to generate OTPs from the Secure Key Feature on the QIB Mobile App. So if you want to authorize QIB Internet Banking Transactions, you will need to:
- Open the QIB Mobile App on your Primary Device
- Tap on Secure Key Feature from the main pre-login screen
- Enter Secure Key Pin Code
- Tap on Generate New Secure Key OTP to generate an OTP and use it on Internet Banking
