Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has a dedicated Financial Institution Division, responsible for the managing relationships with regulated entities. The Department serves as a focal point for managing all aspects of QIB's business relationship with Banks.

The Department maintains relationships over 400 financial institutions across the globe comprising of: Banks, Finance & Investment Companies, Asset Managers, Broker Dealers, Commodity Houses

Broadly, the department coordinates with other internal departments, overseas branches, subsidiaries etc to expand QIB's already dominant share of Qatari trade and investment flows.

Financial Institutions Coverage

Dedicated Financial Institutions coverage team ensures operational efficiency and excellence at all delivery levels. The Department serves as a gateway to a global network of over 400 correspondent relationships across 50 countries.

The Financial Institutions coverage team provides a wide range of tailor made products and services aimed at mainly trade finance, cash management (maintaining the Nostro and Vostro accounts), financing (bilateral, Club as well as Syndication) in addition to facilitating treasury services. Structuring and monitoring of counterparty credit lines as well as for Sovereign limits also falls under the purview of Financial Institutions Coverage.
